How to get gold bars other than paying

Hi Blister, I am fairly sure your question is rhetorical as I gather from your other posts that you are fully aware of the state of the game.
Gold has been made the most important element of the game now and King is slowly but surely restricting the amount that players can freely win.
There are very few ways of obtaining gold bars without having to pay for them and those that do exist have one common problem. The Chocolate Box & the Episode Race are the most well known methods of obtaining gold bars without paying, but these features both suffer from having to complete new levels to obtain the gold. As anyone knows that has played the game for more than a few days the possibility of completing new levels in the quantity required to complete the Gold Chocolate Box and the Episode Race is too difficult a task.
I have all but given up playing the game now and I am only at level 3800. This is because I have learnt that the game is designed to make you pay gold to continue and ultimately to make you pay for that gold.
By not playing I have found that once you open the game again you receive 14 extra moves for the level you are playing. This helped me pass a level I was stuck on, so instead of paying for gold maybe just playing every two weeks will help in some circumstances.
@Carol-38 no one seems to be looking after the Ideas area of this forum anymore, so if you have an idea just submit it and see what happens.

They've been running this Level Rush event for 2 weeks now.
No idea how many people get it, as there's been 0 publicity on their part.
Now that I've seen it twice, I can say it's a good freebievent.
Again, no idea why communication has been so inconsistent recently. One would expect that getting an extra community manager would make a difference but nah - there's no change whatsoever.

Hi @Alienscar, nice you're still around. I was only really replying to Elsa that I had already submitted an idea and that it was cancelled. Not bothering anymore at the moment, kind of losing interest. And I agree with everything else you put. I am now day 2 on a level that started with 32 moves now 20, not shown with any difficulty, but we know all about that. The level before needed many extra moves, so gold bars. Not going to use them on every blooming level, so I'll see what happens with the one I'm stuck on.
