Hello @Kathy_Arrow_Hahn - this change has created a lot of discussion since the change was implemented last year. You can read more about it HERE. There have been some major changes in the game - even in the past 3 years, that have caused a lot of discussion and dissatisfaction amongst the players. I know the studio is always looking at ways to keep the game fresh and interesting to everyone and sometimes the changes they make are hard for the players to initially accept.
I do not know all the reasoning behind the change, but sometimes it's good to take a break and come back later. I actually try and get more moves (like watching an add or even using a few gold bars) so I can finish a level and not lose a life, but that is a personal preference.
I hope you ca still have fun playing Candy Crush, even if you have to wait until the next day to continue.

The changes made to lives. Is it just that you don't want people playing your game any longer. We can all accomodate that.

I used up my 20 lives on 16th March and since then they haven’t reset to 0, which is very frustrating! I removed the app and added it again only to lose all my boosters and lives from friends but that didn’t work. Can anyone help?

Hi- for the last few days, the 20 extra lives that I get each day are not resetting after midnight. I have closed and restarted and also deleted and reinstalled the game with no luck. But each morning, it shows that I have already used my 20 extra lives for the day. Thanks for your help!
