Also I really like the yellow chick so every time I uninstall & re-install, can the chick avatar be saved?
New accounts get a random animated avatar. You'll need to create a new King account if you want to start over and customise your avatar. I see nothing appealing in this chicken but it's your choice.
Can I save my avatar for next time incase I have to reinstall

No need to create multiple threads about the same topic.
Unfortunately, you get only once chance to beat a level from the first try, which is what the golden crown indicates - you succeeded on the first try. It's how it works. Whether you fail or the game crashes, you will not be able to get the crown.
Once you get to level, say, 5000 you won't even want to scroll back to these lower levels. 😁 The sooner you stop caring about the golden crowns, the better. You're bound to get stuck very soon, seeing how you don't have gold bars, so just play for fun, not for crowns.

Yes! You can! You can scroll down (with using your finger (Mobile and/or Computer Device)) to search and select playing what's previous complete level (s) then you can redo playing the level (s) again on any King's Game (s). 😊
For my example 1 : I am on Level 3635 on Diamond Diaries Saga then I scroll down while I want to select playing Level 3585 again. Then I can click on Level 3585 button here and Play Button. Finally let's playing on Level 3585 again! 😄
For my example 2 : I am on Level 2102 on Candy Crush Friends Saga then I scroll down while I want to select playing Level 2100 on Go to the Level Feature again. (No need to scroll down so much) Then I can click on Level 2100 button here and Play Button. Finally let's playing on Level 2100 again! 😄
Psst...! Go to the level feature had still available on Farm Heroes Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga and Candy Crush Friends Saga only! Another King's Games had still not available right now yet.
