Why are my accounts not merging.... I have the same e-mail in both community and candy crush saga.

I had an old tablet that I Maintained my first Candy Crush game because when I got a new tablet, I was told that the status & gold bars can merge from old to new. HOWEVER, Boosters will not merge. So, I kept my old game separate. I loaded a new CC game on my new tablet beginning with level 1. My old tablet was past level 30,000. I could also get onmy old tablet to send lives to my old friends while I made new friends on the new install. I maintained separate banks. Last night,I purchased a $49.99 special offer! Today, they merged my accounts because they asked a question that I am not use to getting. However I answered it, they merged my accounts! My new account, new friends, boosters - including my $49.99 purchase from last evening!! That is a HUGE RIPOFF!! Be aware of requesting a merge!
