The big question is, have the dragons got rid of the recurring bug of the cherry not dropping? Has anyone had a problem of the spawners not creating dragon eggs where they should? If the change to dragons has fixed the recurring bug, then I'm all for it. They are quite cute.

What do you think about my idea of having Izzy watch your moves from the HUD (in versions of the game that have a character, usually Tiffi, watch your moves) in a level where you rescue the baby gummi dragons?

It's the same for me, I like them both
Unfortunately, the dragons are only a retexture of ingredients. The bug remains yet to be fixed.

Hi @QueenB when I previously voted I did not have the baby dragons, however I do now. The levels are the same cherries or dragons. I love dragons very much and this is a sweet change. I also love cherries, personally I find it easier to focus on cherries, as I am surrounded by dragons at home due to my huge collection.
