Hi @Tray1967 and welcome to our wonderful Community! I play on an iPhone 12 and have the same set-up as you (I have the same level design). Those 'rainbow wheels' (not sure of their actual names - I call them multi-colored licorice twists) are blockers that have several layers to them, however when you get one of them in a string, to just that small purple circle, if you hit that, the whole string will disappear.

The trick to this level is not to destroy all the blocker generators on the bottom too soon because they are the items generating those 'rainbow wheels'. There are similar levels where its chocolate you need to collect - but the main thing to remember is - you need to have them (try and keep at least one) to keep generating the item you need to collect. If you destroy them too soon, then you have lost the level and you have no choice but to retry the level. Sometimes if you selected a check mark booster, it may help you get the last few items you are missing, but I see you have 15 left, so unfortunately you will end up losing this level and will need to try again.
