I have played clash from the start and I’m just at the edge of deleting, the not being able to decline a game that kicks you out more often than not on the first level is absolutely demoralising, when you suffer from depression this game used to help me relax but now with this and the portrait mode it’s starting to make me feel down again
also the levels are getting way to hard and virtually impossible to complete unless YOU SPEND MONEY, absolutely disgusting

I think they have decided to keep the change and they hope people will stop complaining eventually. Just like they did with landscape only mode.
King decide everythin. King "know best". They don't care about feedback from players. We are just a bunch of puppets to be manipulated.

And you can also still earned more free boosters (gold bars) by another in-game features/events (also contests on this community) that you can use the boosters to beat any tricky levels too.
