Does anyone else miss the old map in candy crush saga ? It’s such a shame that after eight years of all of the sweet episodes now there are only ten episodes that keep on repeating again and again. The old map was one of the biggest parts of the game before since tiffi left candy town ( the first episode ) and embarked on a journey through countless sweet places and it really motivated me to keep playing and I’ve seen other players here say that they feel the exact same way about it. Which one do you like more the old map or the new map ?

I really don't like the new map. It's horrible. I don't look forward to playing anymore, soon as I take my phone to play and I see that Map I just become sad. Been playing for over seven years and I have the level 9000 badge, maybe this is a sign to log off permanently 😭😭😭

Hello @Bojan_candy I have never seen the old map, so I can't really say if I would like it more than the map I have now.
I will say that the map I have now does not affect the way I play the game at all. For me the game is about completing one level at a time and the map is just a simple way of displaying which level I am on. Other than that I don't find the map has any meaningful impact on the game. I would even say they could remove the Episode names and I wouldn't even notice.

Hi @Alienscar I'm guessing @Bojan_candy is referring to the new Saga Map some of us unfortunates got in January, seems more have received it today. Haven't you got the new map yet? Doesn't affect me re portrait or landscape as I always played portrait which is all it offers. But to scroll back is an absolute nightmare.

Hi @Carol-38 because Bojan mentioned the ten repeating episodes I don't think they are referring to the 'new' map. Yes I have got the latest version of the map.

I don't think anyone would describe the map before the one we have now as the biggest part of the game as the new version isn't that much different than the previous one and they both have/had ten repeating episodes

Yes I should have checked whose post you had replied to, Bojan's post was November 2022, it was Momo213 I was looking at posted at 8.01 this morning. I know more players are getting the new map today so there will probably be lots more posts.

I can't make my mind up about scrolling back down the map @Carol-38. When the map first changed I thought it seemed slower to scroll back than it used to. Now I am not so sure.
Other than scrolling I must admit that I take next to no interest in the map. I tend to move from level to level by pressing play on the Episode Race or any of the other features rather than using the map

I wish I didn't have a reason to scroll back @Alienscar but I do daily for Chocolate Box and have favourites to go back to. Also when we get other features where we can play older levels. Often I scroll back more than 13000 levels, and it's lot of finger swiping. I've asked QueenB if there's any update on the scroll feature King were 'considering' 5 months ago.
