I swear to God if it continues like this I will stop playing candy crush coz it’s really boring like this portrait mode and I will delete it sooon uffffff plz return it back to landscape mode portrait it’s stupid and boring

Here on Windows 11 (through the Windows Store) it's now also in portrait ... on a monitor!? This is not playable at all. Not playing it until landscape is back or an option for landscape is added.
Also: very weird that it's done without any in-game announcement. I though it was a weird bug first but had to learn here to my amazement that it was intentional.

All of a sudden today, Candy Crush in portrait? I thought there was something wrong with my settings. Seems not. Won’t be playing anymore until it gets switched back to landscape.

It changed to portrait on me midgame last night. I am so bummed. I really cannot play the game in portrait. It’s too awkward for me with the iPad, and my disability makes it impossible for me to play it on my phone. It seemsvlike every time I find a game app I like, the developers have to find some way to make it unplayable for disabled people, as soon as I get hooked.

I am sorry to say that it will not be possible to play the game in horizonal position.
The Candy Crush team is running a test and we can now play only in Portrait mode 🙃

Same here, and they’ve done this before and everyone complains. It is pathetic. I agree that it is very awkward to play portrait on an iPad. I refuse…. I have no idea why they continually insult their customer base by doing this. It flipped last night on me as well while I was playing. I’m done playing till they fix it.

Why is the game only available in portrait all of a sudden? Was available in landscape then boom, portrait only. Please bring back Landscape. Thank you.
