10 Gold Bars even if you didn't finish the final Chocolate Box Event

Can anyone back me up here, since the inception of the Chocolate Box if you got to the FINAL box which offered you 25 minutes of color bombs and 25 minutes of wrapped candies in addition to 10 Gold Bars. Even if you didn't complete the event they still gave you the gold bars as a consolation but not the other 2 boosters when the time ran out This week was the first time I didn't get them, I sent an email to support and they claim that you don't get the Gold Bars unless you complete the entire event, when I've gotten them too many times to count.

Why would they give you the gold bars as a consolation prize @Steven_Stambaugh44? If they did that all the time there would be no need to play the Chocolate Box as you could just let the timer run out and still get the gold.
As Christine said you have been very lucky if you have received the ten gold for never finishing the gold Chocolate Box.

Sad to see you go @tr6465 after all this time, I see you've been part of this community and playing this game for a long time. I was wondering if you haveSeason's Pass in your game? Do you know you can get a lot of booster from that? I mean, a LOT. Including lots of UFOs. That it how I keep my game going. (I am at the rainbow at the end of the Candy Crush levels).
