Banished what boosters do you have to use? I try to utilize the boosters that I have the most of. Used no gold or party poppers last week and only a few UFO's. Did Use Boosters, Oh Yeah! Yes, the game gets frustrating, yet we continue...
I have not started the new levels yet. Not waiting for any specific time to start. Not in contest...

Nice that there are no impossible levels so far. That's the way we like it! Challenging, not too much stuff in the way, no impossible levels. Oh Yeah!

Clever playing, @Scooterpie I don't like the timed lucky candies either, they can get in the way and make so many levels harder. I can see a hint of how your playing strategy works in your screenshot. I had been wondering how you manage to get through these extra hard levels, as I play very differently from me. I don't have as much gold as you have, so I play to win the episode races, the only way to make gold. Do you use your gold to buy boosters? Which ones? I buy striped candies and switches. They are my favourites as they can be so useful in so many places and give us some control over the boards. I prefer to spend my gold on boosters rather than extending levels.

I have played 8 levels and then boredom set in. So, off playing the fun games I have discovered.
No use even playing the Chocolate Box as they have taken away gold bars as a prize. Now mostly useless timed boosters. They have even stuck timed boosters in the Daily Treat Machine.

Hello@Scooterpie, trying to post here on my own, being part of a community makes it more fun playing the game.
Have completed another 7 levels, for the Choc Box orders, and to contribute to the team for collection of golden crowns. Agree with @Peter_Tornaros that there's no incentive playing Choc Box now. Gone were the days we had this, even then the bombs and unlimited lives were for at least an hr.
For 14484-14491, not as fun as the last set, and I don't like 14491, just made it, with my own lucky candies.
