How do you get MORE gold bars from winning Candy Royale

Level 1

I’ve tried winning it quickly and slowly but I can rarely cross the 50 threshold.

here are the facts that I know:

  • you are matched with 100 randoms around the same level as you
  • you have to win without losing
  • as participants lose you allegedly can get a bigger share of the 500 gold bars

Here is the part that doesn’t make sense to me what if I finish before everyone else has played their first game? I can beat 7 levels in about 30 mins, does that make my share smaller?

the opposite is true too. I’ve waited 20 hours to complete the final level only to get 39 gold bars.

What am I missing?

    Level 1

I was on Reddit and found this theory.

“I have been thinking about how this works. Someone pointed out it works if you are offline, so this is not actually live, i.e. the others are not actually playing simultaneously.

My theory is that what happened implies you were the first person ever to go seven levels from the level you started at. The next person who does it will be told they share the pot with one other person and so on as more people get seven in a row from that level over time the number of people they are told they share it will increases.”

Hi there.I've been wondering how this event works for a long time. I'm not even sure the players are matched randomly in this. It certainly is not a timed event and like the episode race it is against players who went long before you, not playing at the same time. But I cannot understand how the algorithm works and I would like to know if the the group of 100 players is in fact the same throughout. It is all shrouded in secrecy.

Hello @WhopperCrusher🤗 Hearty Welcome to our lovely King Community!

The facts you have stated above are correct👍️

I have received "Candy Royale" only last year in my game, but I must say that I have played a lot more levels because of this feature, as I loved winning Gold Bars - if not a lot, at least the ones I spent🤩

In my experience, I think it matters if we finish each levels first than anybody else!! When we pass a level, some more people who won it along with us also will be moved on and the others will be left there, but, won't be removed from the race. Because, they have not "lost" the level!! As you know, only the players who "lost" will be removed from the race!! So, in this case, the final prize will be distributed between all those who remain in the race - finished and unfinished players (These are only my thoughts and not facts!!)

I have not tried waiting to finish the Candy Royale, as I always start it with the first level of an Episode. Once the 7 levels are done, I will be rushing to finish my Episode Race!!

What I have noticed a lot is, the more hard levels (skulled levels) an Episode contains, the better share of the GB we receive - if we beat those (cruel) levels, that is☺️ When my episode more Super Hard and Nightmarishly Hard levels, I win 60 to 100 (sometimes, even more) Gold Bars. If the episode has regular levels and hard levels, then it will be 15 to 30 Gold bars (max)!!

But, about your doubts, I can ask our Candy Community In-charge and see if they can find out any accurate details from the Studio! How does that sound?

It’s an algorithm based on factors like how many gold bars you won the last time you completed the event. It has nothing to do with how fast you play or anything like that. You are not playing against anyone really. Not anyone who has played it now or anyone who has played it before…that’s all made up.

Everyone is forced to play CR now. Meaning, in theory, your share of gold would be bigger when winning since you are up against players that don’t even want to play the feature (mostly because they don’t believe they can complete it). In the last month the most I have won is 30 gold bars and I win the event every single time. I’ll bet that if I intentionally failed to win the event for a couple of times my share would easily exceed 30 GB. Don’t overthink this.

I there @PummyRaj . I hope you don't mind my jumping in as it was @WhopperCrusher you were asking. But I would be really interested to find out just exactly how this event works. It would be great if you could ask someone for us. I do understand your explanation as it was well put, but am not convinced this is how it works. You see, if it is correct, then the event would be really unfair. It would mean we don't really share the top prize with others who achieved the feat and it penalises players who, like myself and you, rush through an entire episode (to win the episode race). It would be great if you could ask someone in the KNOW. Thanks.

    Definitely, Christine 🤗

I too am curious to know! But, never gave much thought as nobody expressed until you guys did 🙂

My hunch is that you are exactly correct. I like to try things out in Candy Crush to prove my point, but -believe it or not- I don't get Candy Royale in either of my two games I am currently playing. I wish I had it just so I can test ist out and do some research...not that this would give me an answer.

This is an excellent discussion! I, too, have wondered how CR actually works. I did win the 500 a few months back which came as a shock. Was kinda weird because the level before the end, my share was at 62. 🤔

Anyway, like Christine said, maybe someone in the KNOW can share the answer to the mystery? 😸

    Have a great day, y'all!

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
