I lost Candy Crush Saga on FB like everyone else. Sent a message to King and got my 2 games back. All was well until yesterday when Candy Crush won't load. How do I fix this?

Looks like, one version of the test does not give us options to choose a task (out of 4). And, there are different tests in this one too. So, not all players have the "single task" boxes!!
Since the rewards were changed to timed boosters, I have stopped playing the Chocolate Box feature. But, I can check it tomorrow and see if I have the single task or different one๐๏ธ

I was wondering if anyone had said they still have gold in their box? Were the boxes rolled out to everyone,?

You will lose your boosters. They are stored on you device. Gold is stored on king servers. Don't reinstall. Unless you are ready to lose any boosters you might have.
