I have timed out of every single event. Is this happening to anyone else in the upper levels now that we don’t get help? It’s a bummer because I really enjoyed playing them.

For the "Striped Candies" event --> Like Rhonda suggested, play some old levels. I would suggest to go with the "milestone" levels😉 (unless you know some good levels, that has a good number of striped candies and can win the level)🙂
With regards to not receiving Ads after making a purchase --> I have enquired about it with our Candy Community In-charge. She told me that, what players say is not right.
True, that we do not receive Ads, when we make a purchase.... but, only till the "timed" boosters (if we purchased any) run out. You should be able to receive the Ads again from the next day👍️

I meant timed out as in failed every single one because I’m not making any progress to collect the stuff needed like striped candies but can’t get them because I can’t pass a level because most of my levels are hard now that I’m in the 9000’s. I don’t get any ads before a game starts to help with the level, no hot air balloon anymore. Someone said it’s because I paid for boosters. I don’t know but I miss those ads. It used to be so much fun. Sorry for the long posts. Thank you and have a good day.
Do you have Season Pass? That is the only really helpful event left. You can replay an easy level again and again to get to the top tier, so you should never get timed out on that one. It lasts several days as well.

It says report ads in the chat but then chat says this... Several ads aren't closable and lead you to the play store. Especially SHEIN and Ibotta!
