Level 2
It seems like we are back to forcing people to either buy lives or not play as much as they we. When the extra lives started there was no limit to the amount used per day. That allowed people to play way to much apparently.
Next the live lock down was 20 per day. This was very limiting and pointless to encourage play.
Next a compromise seemed to be made: 20 lives per 8 hours. This allowed play during different times each day. It also allowed the ability to use some of the bonuses(30 minute ones) and have enough lives to get to the end of them.
Now we are back to the 20 extra life limitation. All I can assume is there was a monetary reason for this.
after many years of playing and reaching level 13,996, it might be time to find a new game.
from a frustrated player
You do know a life reups after 30 minutes, right? That means if you're at 0 lives, you get 5 back after 2 1/2 hours. Never mind the 20 extra lives you have for the day. Do the math.. you don't have to depend on banked lives.
You think I don’t know how lives work? I have limited times of day to play. So if I play in the morning and I am on hard levels I can burn through 25 lives in a very short time. I then might play again at night and will have 5 lives. So about 10-15 minutes if I am stuck on a level. I am then done.
I am surprised you are defending the poor changes made. The fact that a change was made that can only be explained as a “money grab” is telling.
King seems to have run a test a few weeks ago allowing players to trade some boosters for a 30-min infinite life (I myself had this change). Once the timer expired, the default went back to 5 lives. So, all one had to do was repeat the process of trading the boosters for the infinite life to never have need for using banked lives.
Guess King eventually caught on that that change was far too beneficial 'cuz now the old method of trading gold bars for lives is back lol
Personally I think 20 lives from friends is enough. Indefinite lives just means indefinite boredom or frustration. It's one or the other if you can't keep your win streak, in which case you won't need more lives. Just a thought. It's much better the game kicks you out of your frustrations and makes you seek more fulfilling things to do.
I have many friends who always send each other lives, but they don't get them. Something is wrong with the system as they sometimes are sitting next to each other and seeing them being sent.
Just another money grab....
