I’m not currently playing candy crush because of the absurd decision by King to try force us all to play in portrait mode. I do check daily to see if they have heard our plea to give us the choice of landscape and to collect my boosters. I no longer have sweet cinema as a booster option. Have they also done away with it as another “improvement” to the game or they punishing people who are pausing their play? I’m not surprised and I don’t care that much, I’m just wondering.

Also you can give your feedback about the change as per below link, your feedback can be accepted in the studio.
We are very sorry that you are missing the ad Sweet Cinema feature. Actually this feature is controlled by test group which is fully automatic so manual control is not possible in such cases.Moreover this type of feature is not permanent i.e. you can miss the feature anytime and get back the feature again after a certain period of time.
Always keep the game app updated and keep playing the game, hope you get your favorite feature back soon.

To add a little bit to what our friends said above, I have some information about "Sweet Cinema" feature!
You do not have it anymore in your game because, you are about to get another feature called "Treasure Hunt". It works almost the same as the Sweet Cinema. But, better🤩
After watching Ads, we will receive 4 regular boosters + there is a Treasure Chest at the end of the map! In which, you will find One Free Switch (Hand booster) + One Lollipop hammer + Unlimited lives for about 10 minutes (or so)!!

How long has it been since you lost the Sweet Cinema feature? If it is more than 3 days and you still did not receive the new feature, I would suggest you to check for updates in the App Store/Google Play Store; Once you install the updates, if you do not see the event yet, I would recommend you to play couple of levels (old levels are fine). I think I had to win my level for the feature to pop-up! Don't remember exactly!! It has been more than a week🤦♀️
