On level 4444 the dragon can fall into an area that makes the level impossible to finish. This happened to me twice today and I ended up losing a streak and wasting a load of boosters before I realised it was a problem with the level design

Thank you, this was so helpful. Of course I wish I had checked here before I wasted so many booster and gold bars! I also lost my streak and lead and so many other bonuses but finally past the level. There shouldn't be levels where you just can't pass them.
The trick must be to bash the candies in the right order, so you have to make sure you don't get rid of the blockers underneath the two dragons until at least the top row on the right above the popcorn is free for them to drop. Tricky. You are right that if the blockers on the left are removed first, then the dragons will drop to the bottom where they will be stuck. I suspect this is a deliberate design feature as it's been like this for several years. But maybe the design team should take a look at this.
