I like games to be vertical on my phone but reverts to horizontal automatically
Oh ok, whether you're playing on a phone or tablet, there's a function at the top that allows you to change how you view the screen. But, as Kiara_wael mentioned, there is no way to change the way you see the game. Attached is a screenshot of the icon I was talking bout (in the middle). My apologies if it's different on the iPad. I have an Amazon fire and this is how it looks on my tab.

Sorry but it doesn't work. Nothing works for iPad. I play sideways now. It takes some getting used to.....

Oh no, I was responding to christypie regarding her ipad. I'm not having issues with the way the screen is displayed, nor am I trying to play in landscape mode .. lol
As for your ques, landscape does not work on my fire tab.

Candy Crush Saga game is not playable on landscape mode anymore!! It was a change brought in by the Candy Crush game Studio.
Are you able to play Candy Crush Saga in landscape mode on your Amazon Fire?

Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback. Recently a changed was made in the game to only let players play in Portrait mode (this is how the game would look like when playing on a phone). This change is also effective on Windows. Currently there’s no plans on changing this back, but please leave your feedback on the change in this discussion.

Have you tried setting the auto-rotate (at the top of your phone above or under notifications) to portrait mode so that it locks in vertical position? Click on the icon that has an arrow w circle, and that should change the position of the screen. You toggle or click it until it shows a lock in the icon.
This should help unless I'm misunderstanding your question .. Lol
