Super hard levels are sucking the fun out of it

I agree with all of you. King isn't listening to us players, they're going to do what they want to do, hoping you'll spend real $.

It is what it is... this game has changed so much since the inception.

It WAS fun back in the day.

Feeling the same way. Isn’t the fun passing levels without using extra moves. Curing my addiction too. Hate the timed booster rewards as well. I’d rather have the reward and use it when I need it.

I have posted similar posts before but will again say the same in this thread:

The game has been changed in recent months to make it essentially a "pay to play" game. A lot of changes have been introduced, such as the legendary levels, timed boosters and many more subtle changes. Until a few months ago the game used to give players an easy pass by giving them a lucky board after a day or so of trying, but this no longer happens so players get stuck on one level for weeks. The days when all levels were possible to pass without boosters are GONE and I think they are gone forever. So watching the YouTube videos is not much help any more, as those generally profited from a "lucky board". Many levels are now designed to use boosters and gold to pass levels, so if you are out of gold then I am afraid there is little you can do. Successful players have hoarded their gold from early on in the game and use this to win champions races to earn even more gold. (This is still possible: I started a new game at level 1 about a month ago and am on level 516 with 1166 gold bars, no cheats of any kind used)

The key to still enjoying Candy Crush is to accept the game as it now is. I would NOT recommend spending money on it, but there are some events like the occasional candy collection or gold rush events, which can get you back into the game by replaying old levels to gain the rewards, the Season Pass works with old levels, too. I would recommend one of three options to anyone stuck on an impossible level without boosters or gold: 1. Take advantage of all the events just mentioned that will give you free boosters and especially gold by replaying old levels. Save those up and don't waste them on a hopeless level you won't pass. Only use lollipop hammers or 10 gold if it will definitely pass you the level. 2. Take a long break from the game. At least two weeks. Don't log in at all or open the game. The game might let you pass when you do come back to it after a long break. 3. If the game is no longer fun then it may be time to quit for good.
