Been a week and still can’t pass

Level 4189 I’ve been playing on for almost a week and still can’t pass it. Once again the following will happen. I make a complaint to King and they say it’s all about your skill and some luck, then magically I will pass about 50 levels, but support will say it’s all just luck. What a bunch of garbage. Just another way to try and get money from you. Here’s the thing, you want me to spend money, make a subscription for the game. Tired of your garbage support not helping. I wait a couple days and somehow magically I will pass the level with no effort. Stupid.

    This is how much I’ve played this level. Let’s give him 125 moves for 10 gold bars. 😠😣🤨🤣😂🤣

    Hi there @papajon25 You are right, that is exactly how Candy Crush works. It is never "luck". It is fixed. The levels are manipulated. A lot of us know this and work around it, in fact for me that is what I enjoy about the game, figuring out how to beat the algorithms. There is no point complaining to King about it. They won't admit to it, of course not. But that is the way the game is and they won't change it. If Candy Crush is frustrating you rather than fun, then I would recommend you quit playing at this point. There are lots of other games out there.

    So close. I still enjoy it. Just annoying and I have found that if I complain a little they change it. Heck the last time I complained they changed the whole level. Weird.

    Wow, they offer you 125 extra moves? Are they mad? The most they ever offer me is 65 and quite frankly that has always been plenty enough. Well, 125 sounds real desperate....."PLeeeeeease give us your money.... pretty pleeeease...."

    I took my iPad on holiday for 10 days. Same level lasted the whole time. I’d pick it up, play for about four minutes, fail, maybe try again later in the day, and fail again. The level only had 15 moves, so only took about 30 seconds.


    Rinse and repeat for the whole holiday.


    The game is meant to be fun, but playing the same level for 10 days, and only being able to play for four minutes is quite poor really.

    You passing 50 levels with ease won’t have the same affect as when you manage to complete this level your stuck at you’ll be bouncing through the floor. Keep at it you will feel the determination rush through your body a surge of success ☝🏻

  • That does not describe Candy Crush in my view! The game is fixed and you will win a level when the algorithm decides to let you pass. Hey Man, that is not an achievement that would make anything but anger surge through my body!

    @redliner69 I don't know which level you are playing at but I think one way to pass a level that you are stuck on like that is to NOT open the game at all for about two weeks, after which the game algorithm thinks you might quit and therefore lets you pass with a super lucky board or even some free gifts. You might have been better off leaving your iPad at home during your holiday and maybe then when coming back suddenly you'd have got "lucky".

    Level 4204 for information. Legendary level now. Which basically means reduce the number of moves to make it harder. You could make level 1 impossible if you reduced the number of moves to five.


    Currently trying with 19 moves. Takes two minutes and six seconds to use five lives. Now offering mean extra 120 moves.

    And yes, you are probably correct. Put it down, wait a week and it will probably give me enough free boosters and an easy starting position, with lots of help and I’ll do it in 11 moves.

  • One other suggestion if you are stuck this long might be to contact Player Support from within the app. I was playing a level much higher up in the game, which had been nerfed to the point of being impossible even with boosters. To be fair, there was a glitch in it as well, but as soon as I complained they miraculously changed my game to a different algorithm with an easy starting board which allowed me to pass on the next try. They seem to be able to do that at customer support..... But go via the app, so use Settings, then the ? and click on any option until you get the "contact us" option at the bottom of the page. You will get an automated email first of all telling you useless tips about hard levels, but if you then reply to this email saying how long you have been stuck, and keep replying to the emails until they grow tired of you, there is a chance they'll give you an easy board or some gold or boosters to let you pass. Just keep pestering them with more emails, but always replying to the email rather than creating new tickets. Good luck!
