I'm changing email on Facebook. How do I make sure CC changes over without losing progress?

I am going to be changing my email completely.   I will be changing it on Facebook and want to make sure that my progress on Candy Crush is not lost when I do that.   How do I do this?

    If you are sticking to the same Facebook account and only changing the email, it shouldn't effect your game since it's linked to your Facebook ID and not the email registered.

    I recently changed my e-mail and password on Facebook, and now I can't connect to Facebook within Candy Crush on my Windows Phone. I log in with the correct username and password, then Candy Crush says "Connecting to Facebook cancelled." Please help!
