@Deryck Perhaps it's not the sending but the receiving of a life that was limited.
Oh yes, I totally agree with you on that, that is why I sent Christine 25 lives
Alienscar: I was beginning to think that people could only receive twenty lives a day
Like you I thought Cat Lad has said there was a limit, so I was surprised when Christine got all 25 of the lives that I sent.

That is a shame to hear Vicky. King has done a really good job of limiting the lives we all receive from our friends by cleverly changing the way sending lives work.
By getting rid of the Send Lives button people can only receive lives now by requesting them or by people sending lives individually like I have to you.
It would appear that for a lot of people sending lives one by one is too much trouble so people are now not receiving a lot of lives, but instead everyone is getting a lot of requests.
The sad fact is that if you want to maximise the number of lives you receive you have to spam the ask friends for lives button as much as you can.
As I said I think King has been clever because I think they realise that most people don't like to constantly beg, so the net result has been a reduction in the number of lives people have been receiving.

I do wish some of the newbies would join this thread, I mean people who really NEED lives. They seem to just post once, complain and then quit.
To be honest Christine I blame the Moderators for this as most new posters are met with a cut and paste answer that directs them to the Lives Inbox -How does it work thread. When someone complains about not receiving lives, or having a greyed out life envelope being directed to a thread that tells you how many lives you can use a day and store isn't helpful.

Guys hi to you and thank you for that interesting discussion because I have been taught a lot regarding lives gifted I didn’t know about it all at all as I thought we only can send a very short amount of lives when we have so even if I was not part of that exchange I appreciate all that informations given 👍🏽
