Interesting screenshot! It illustrates how the game algorithms work. The game knows you are going to fail. Likewise, when I pass a level quite often the "pass" notice comes up well before I can see all the blockers disappear from the board! I think this pretty well illustrates how pre determined much of this game is. I think a lot of the game boards in Candy Crush are set up so it can be predicted a few moves from the end if a player will pass or fail and which booster will make a "fail board" a pass. My playing strategy is to pause two moves before the end to assess if one single booster will pass the level (in your case a UFO, but sometimes it's a switch or a lollipop hammer) and if it's worth playing it at this point.
