For the past couple of weeks I receive requests to send a life to friends but have received no gifts of a life from anyone. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
All this rubbish new profile is detrimental to playing the game , unable to give lives as previously, is this a ploy for us to spend yet more money? How many players will you lose around the world I wonder?
I've had the same problems with NOT getting lives. I request them constantly and give them as well. In the past 24 hours, I have not received a single life. Very frustrating when I've played 5 rounds and have to wait 30 minutes for another life. I too was at 200 before this new ridiculous change of only being able to play so many lives a day. Too many changes make me want to stop playing and I will definitely not be buying lives all the time just to play. I feel like we are being penalized for having too many friends and not allowing them to send lives. I'm almost to level 15,000. VERY FRUSTRATING and not very fun anymore. Levels are becoming soon impossible to cleat without buying gold bars.

Come on fix the issues. I have been playing for many years now and I am not enjoying anymoe.
I'm on level 9000+ but looks like I'm ready to leave.

Exact same here. I am giving lives away like crazy, even restarting the game for it and do not receive, but one or two a day, while i always had my bag full. So I play ten games a day instead of 35.
Can't see why this should be good for the company, for the player it is not, for sure.
CC is not fun anymore.
I have gone from having 200 lives to 3 over the past few weeks. I request lives every time I run out, I have given out far more lives than I am receiving. Not sure why they've dried up. Getting tired of all the changes to the game, it's not fun anymore.

Are you requesting lives yourself @JanetEvelyn? Recent changes to the game mean the best way of receiving lives from your friends is to request them.
