Level 11695

I am currently on level 11695 and can not pass it. I have used numerous lives, most of my coconut wheels and other aids that I have earned. I have been eliminated from all contests I have been entered in because of my lack of progress. Come on candy crush. This is supposed to be fun. Is this where I stop playing? So frustrating.

Yes. And one of the boosters I am given once I’ve played numerous games without winning is the UFO. All that does is wipe out the first and only move. So that’s a wasted booster and automatic loss of a game. Someone clearly didn’t think this one through. I am taking a break from playing. Thanks for you4 advice.

For your information, I did happen to take a screenshot of the starting board. As you can see there is only one possible first move. So you are at King's mercy here. There is no strategy at all because the game decides which of the three possible items drops from the dispensers.

Thanks so much. I think I will quit playing for now. Honestly I used to pass at least 50 levels a week. Now I’m lucky if I pass 4 or 5. Way too frustrating.

Hi there @shopgirl1959 Interestingly I have just tried this level out and passed on my second try using all three starting boosters! Now I think I know why this is. I gave up this particular Candy Crush game a few weeks ago when I reached level 15,000 and the game is "thinking": Hey, this player isn't playing any more, let's put her onto an easier algorithm.

The game is pre determined. If you are on a legendary level and don't pass first time, when you may have win streak boosters and play starting boosters, then you have hit a wall. This is the point where your algorithm is set to "fail" and no matter what starting boosters you play, the right candies won't drop and your boosters will start off in the wrong place. That is what Candy Crush has become since they introduced legendary levels and they no longer give players an automatic "lucky" board eventually after so many tries.

So these are your choices from here on: Either keep playing the level WITHOUT boosters (not wasting them, as they just will not help) until the game offers you so many extra moves for 10 gold that you will pass easily (this assumes you have some gold left), or you keep playing until you notice the level gets a little easier and lets you get closer. It probably will. At this point I think if you try starting boosters again the game may let you pass, like it did for me. Or it might leave you one UFO or one lollipop hammer short, then play that if you have one. The other options are to stop playing. You could try just stopping for a few weeks, and then the game might let you pass or even give you a welcome back gift! Or just quit for good, because from here on so many levels become impossible to pass right up to level 15,000 , where I quit out of boredom, the game isn't fun any more and you will hit the wall again and again if you don't have lots of gold left at this stage.
