For years now, every time there is a new event announced on our phones, we have these noisy adverts for the event overriding the sound level set on our device and the silencing of the app. This has been complained about many times and it is really unacceptable in the following circumstances:
If opening the App in a public place, such as on a train.
If opening the App to play while someone else is in the room, perhaps taking a nap even.
Why has this not been fixed? We set our game to silence for a reason. We mute and turn down the sound of our devices for a reason. Is it even legal to override our devices like this? And WHY at the maximum sound level that is possible? It's not that we could anticipate these adverts, which come out of the blue, so we are quite helpless here.
I would like this to be put to the team, please, moderators.
Hi Christine @christinewupp🤗
I have seen this complaint about the sound being too loud while the game loading in FHSS (Farm Heroes Super Saga)! The game Studio was looking into the issue but, it was taking a while for them to fix it!! I am wondering if it is the same glitch that is affecting Candy too🤔
Let me give a heads-up to QueenB tomorrow, so that she can report to the Studio!
Thanks a lot for reporting the issue and being patient and understanding🙏

To be fair, on my old iPhone 6 today the same King ad did remain silent, but that is because I don't use that phone except to play Candy Crush and therefore I had ALL the sound turned off including the ringer. We can't really do that though normally, in case of emergencies. I have never had any sound on in CandyCrush because that is how I always play, and when I used to have adverts for boosters in my game those were always silent, too. But those King ads that advertise the newest special event, those you just can't stop the horrendous noise! So you can have your ringer on a really low setting, and it still comes out as loud as the speaker can possibly make it. That is the issue here.
