Star tournament Dec 2023
Okay well the new tournament, the star tournament just popped up. So I agreed to play and low and behold the top winning player already has almost 600 stars. It's not that easy to get stars fast. You basically get a point for a star. If you pass a level with sugar stars you get 6 points. Now how did someone have 588 points right when the game started??? What's the point of playing judy to catch up to the top player??? Can I get out from playing the tournament?? Or am I stuck playing??

Yes! That is exactly what I was asking for!
We have seen few more complaints about the Star tournament not working properly!! I think this is an event that appears only to the players like you, that are at the top of the map!!
For me to find more details from the Community In-charge, you will have to wait till Monday, as they all are away from the work for the weekend. You can choose to contact the King Player Support team and report about it. But, it would be a delayed process as they have to take care of all 12 King Saga games.
We do have some players in the Community that are at the top of the map just like you! I think they do have this feature.
Let me give them a shout out @christinewupp , @MonicaYellow , @Carol-38 , so that they can give some input about the feature and suggestions on what to do

Yes, @krizw41 you are definitely at the end of Candy Crush. Therefore you will have to wait until next Wednesday for new levels. The Star Tournament does not relate to this. You will get new levels next Wednesday if you play this or not.

Hi @krizw41 you are not bound to compete in the race. You will appear on the leaderboard as you agreed to the event, and if you play new levels or add stars to old levels. But you can just continue playing your normal game, or partiicipate to other events, without actively participate to the Tournament.

Thank you for answering but I'm still confused. I can't move forward from the last level I played. It will only let me play the tournament.

Different players receive different features! Hence, I cannot figure out which event you are talking about! By any chance, is it the "Vault challenge"?
Can you please post a screenshot of that "Star Tournament", so that, I can provide you more details?

Well, congratulations for reaching the end of the map!
Yes, the Star Tournament, I do remember this from when I was playing at the rainbow end of Candy Crush. I never bothered with it, because it is just too difficult to ever get the prizes. The levels change each time, so you only ever get a really tough board full of blockers that never gets easier to pass. The purpose of the Star Tournament is to give the really addicted full time crushers something to play for while they are waiting for new releases. Because of this the players who tend to win the prizes are probably in my view a bunch who have long found ways to cheat the algorithm to get as many free boosters as they like. You are competing against the most experienced "mad" crushers in this, so I would not advise anyone to play this. Take a break until new levels are released next Wednesday. There is more to life than Candy Crush. Well, there should be. Any player who has not found a cheat will definitely spend more strong boosters on the Star Tournament than they will win.
Every Wednesday 45 (sometimes 60) new levels are released for you to play. They will automatically appear in your game halfway through Wednesday (depending on where in the world you live). Once you get to the end of Candy Crush, that is all you get. I started a brand new game a few times, on a second device, to keep the addiction going. It's quite fun.
