Hi Janka, yes I got it too.
You have to consider this as a kind of "cash back" (or rather a "gold bars back") feature. If while you play you need to spend GB several times, this feature will increment them up to a certain amount, and that machine will give you back a portion of what you had to spend to move on in your game.
Obviously there is no point in directly feeding this machine with your stock of GB in order to get.. less GB. π
I Hope this makes more sense ?
