Level 1

Has anyone else found the app to be absolute crap for a number of days now? It takes me a good 10 tries each time to just play a level without the app crashing. Try to play an ad to get a booster? Get kicked out. Try to play a level without watching an ad? Get kicked out? Yes, I did try uninstalling and installing again. I suppose I should be grateful for the extra time I now have that I'm not wasting on playing the game...

    I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with your game!

    Just for my clarification... are you experiencing the crashing issues while watching the Ads or while playing the game too?

    If it is only Ads, is it a specific Advertisement or any and all advertisements?

    We have received complaints about Ads crashing the game! If the issue is in the game, reinstalling the App on your side will not help! And, it will be a loss for you as you might have lost your saved boosters!!

    Can you please reply back by typing in the blank box given below?

    I'm having both happen. Most of the time it is when watching ads but certainly not all the time.

    For example, here's how tonight went:

    1. Attempt: No ads, kicked out as game was loading
    2. Attempt: no ad, able to play
    3. Attempt: ad at beginning, got past ad, kicked out before I could make the first move
    4. Attempt: no ad, kicked out
    5. Attempt: no ad, got through level, tried ads for extra moves, kicked out during first ad
    6. Attempt: no ad, played level, no ads for extra boosters after playing level, no issues
    7. Attempt: ad (Walmart), got kicked out
    8. Attempt: no ads, played level, got through all 3 ads for extra moves at the end of level
    9. Watched ads for more lives, got through all 3 ads just fine
    10. Attempt: ad at beginning, played level, got through all 3 levels for boosters at end of level
    11. Ad at beginning, everything fine

    And...the next attempt after that, got kicked out again...

    Next attempt, got kicked out as ad was starting (Best Buy)

    Walmart and Best Buy ads seemed to cause issues, saw a bunch of Coca Cola ads and those were all fine (some other ads as well, don't remember all of them).

    Fun times...

    Hi there 😃

    Try clearing the game app cache, restart the device again and see if that helps as there might be a bug on the game app still causing this issue.

    The issue of adverts crashing the game has never gone away.

    Yes @beatricekillam I have found the app to be extremely unstable these last 15 days or so. As you say the adverts have got worse than ever and some of the crashes now cause my device to restart which never used to occur.

    Also the game crashes without even playing adverts now and sometimes this occurs mid game. It is difficult to get support here as the usual response to a crashing game is a cut and paste answer blaming your Internet connection. In this world of 5G and fibre broadband that response just doesn't make sense.

    All I can suggest is try playing your game without using the adverts for a week and see if your game becomes more stable. I know you will miss the boosters/moves/lives from the adverts, but in my case not watching adverts has resulted in my game crashing less often.

    Regarding the game's performance over the past few weeks, I'll make sure to escalate this concern to our development team. It's crucial for us to address these issues to provide a better gaming experience for everyone but it is been taking longer than expected.

    Please keep in mind that while we see few players here in the community reporting the same issue, there are still millions of other players that is not being affected by this which makes it difficult to find the source of the problem.

    Regarding the standard response about Internet connectivity, I acknowledge your point. While connectivity can sometimes impact the game's performance, it's clear that there are deeper issues causing these frequent crashes, especially when they occur during gameplay without any adverts.

    Your suggestion about playing the game without using adverts to test its stability is a good one. It might offer a temporary solution for some players until we can fully resolve these technical difficulties.
