To start, I have not updated iOS and Candy Crush updated automatically 2 days ago. I have not logged off. I wrote King.com for help. Instead of responding, I was told to come here.
The problem: I have not received several hundred gold bars awarded as bonuses for performance (races, trophies, etc.) or associated with piggy bank purchases. Second, I have lost at least two bonus packages associated with trophies and one award for a first place finish completed this week.
In the each instance, I apparently lost the awards because I could not claim them at the moment of the award but had to wait a day or two. My crime: I have life to live and did not have time to play and use the associated awards at that moment.
I paid for the app. I paid for the piggy banks. I worked hard to get trophies and win races. The non-response from King.com and the too bad, so sad, you don’t always get what you earn attitude of King.com is an inadequate response.
My my only recourse to get a response from King is an open forum given that they refused to respond to my email.
King blames the problem, in part on updates. It’s interesting they can keep game progress. It’s equally interesting that they appear to not keep rewards etc. I’m sure it isn’t because not doing so earns them additional cash because users have to buy additional capabilities as a result.
King... please fix this problem. The loss of these rewards translates into users having to spend money to get what those rewards woils have given us. That is unacceptable. Please fix this issue. Please reimburse users for losing awards through the faults of software.
