Yes, there are tens of thousands of semi final groups (at least). It is difficult to work out exactly how many, because there is no official limit on how many semi final groups there are nor how many players will be put into each of the 2024 promised final groups. If we assume that there might be 60 players per group in the final, then there would have to be 20 x 2024 (over 40,000) semi finals playing right now, with the top 3 players getting through to the final.
And no @ShaneOss there is no cash prize. The prize is fake gold to be used in the game itself.
So guys, play to have fun but don't spend any money in the hope you'll be one of the winner of the gold. The chances for each semi final winner of achieving this is going to still be very slim. The finals will be very competitive and we really don't know how many players will end up in each finals group. It could be over a 100 per group. King won't tell us.
Having said that I'm doing just fine after 4 episodes played this morning. And I had fun, which is the most important part. I did spend almost 200 of my gold, so having fun is a costly business, but if it's fake gold that I earned through episode races and events in the game, and not real money, then that's fine with me.
Good luck to all those of you still in the running in this event!
Hello competing friends!
I had this in my game when I opened it this morning
Easy to complete when competing (I think I might need more than 25 levels to win this round π€)
That and a Rebate Candy Royale (400 GB to share), if I don't win the Winter Cup, at least I'll have a few gold bars to play with π
I read it was just 100 gold bars a month? I'm sure most players spend more than that very quickly trying to progress. Where did the algorithm come from to determine what the monthly gold bar spend would be?
I work with data, so really loving the stats you guys provide in game, it's great! :)
