Thanks My Little Pink Blancmange. I was determined to get that gold, I need it. Played one level under 10,000 over and over, it gave approx 300 purple each time so you can tell I played it a lot. The good thing is, it doesn't require boosters to pass. Done now so I can get back to my Spanish on Duolingo 🇪🇦👩💻
Really! For Real!😳Are you saying I have been racing myself? 🙆🏽♂️Are you saying king moves the other players or are they dummies?🙆🏽♂️
Come to think of it the speed of the 2 players today was crazy, I almost panicked thinking I’ve lost my winning streak but I maintained my cool and made sure I didn’t change my game play😊It was indeed two (2) close calls almost at the end of the episodes 😀but I noticed the players from mother two (2) didn’t move, when I got to them and passed, They remained at the spot where I met them till I got to the last level in the episodes..Hmmm.🤔 You might be right king might be messing with me really 🙆🏽♂️
But on the other hand I have lost many episodes within 1-2 hours of play before severally, Can you explain that? And I have been wondering how all players start the race at the same time🫣
Well now you mentioned this I will keep my eyes down wide open and monitor it..
Dear friend, first let me say that I feel really sorry for you that you are not enjoying the Winter Season events. I will never understand how King manages its games and treat "its" players.
As for the episode race, I do not believe that King is messing up with you specifically. But one thing is for sure: we are not racing against actual players. The competitors shown in the race are former racers that are moved according to an algorithm which pattern tends to be as follows (I will focus on the top racer, as it is the one that will spur us to move on) first, the player will move along with us and even let us take a little advance. After 3-4 levels, it (the dummy) will take davantage on us, and then suddenly move on very very quickly until close to the end of the episode. And most curiously, as you noticed, it will stop there as if waiting for quite a while🤔. The algorithm is timed so that the top competitor finishes the race in 24 hours. If you have not completed the episode by then, the top racer will pursue passing levels to win the race on time.
Everything in the race is done to make us keep moving to finish it as quickly as possible. For example, if you have just completed the same level than 2 other players, you will always be shown as the last player on the race Map, never as the top one (contrary to what happens in Soda for example).
I used to be panicked when I saw the top player racing through levels, even nightmarish ones, and I was like you wondering how that could happen. But having noticed that "waiting" pattern, and after confirmation from other fellow players, I now play that race in a much cooler way. And since, I find the top racer playing pattern somewhat amusing.
The main thing to remember is that it is not an actual race with real players and that you have 24 hours to finish the race; and to keep your cool so that the pattern of the top racer does not make you loose your skills and prompt you to unduly use boosters and GB when it will be racing through levels.
