Ahh I thought it was only me who had the wining streak return to the old one.
Have yet to run into an oops level, then again I don't have a max winning streak most of the time :)
lol, no need to be jealous because it's been discontinued. This time I didn't spend any gold bars.
Ever since I encountered a bug level and it showed failure as soon as I entered it, which caused the winning streak to be interrupted, I became free and no longer obsessed with the winning streak.
Interesting must be a version difference. I am jealous of your 4/4 Win streak though.
I did send a bug report... I think... the process does not really give you feedback that is useful.

As far as I am aware, those of us who do not have ads always get the offer to play on for 5 extra moves for 10 gold. If you then fail, you will have to pay 16 gold and after that 25 gold for your next 5 moves. That is why it is very costly to stick to your win streak at all costs. If you fail and lose the win streak (and drop out of Candy Royale, of course) then the number of extra moves offered for 10 gold increases with each failed attempt and eventually reaches 125 ludicrous extra moves (pay 10 gold bars to pass).
Those who get ads get an offer to either watch an ad or three ads for extra moves or go straight for the 10 gold offer. If you do go for the ads and then fail, you have to pay 16 gold for more moves. It seems fair and levels out the playing field for those who never get any ads in their games. We also occasionally get random friends "gifting" us 3 moves for our next attempt, after failing a level. I think others may watch a pre level ad to gain this. Ultimately the level design takes all this into account and still leaves you one move short, no matter how many moves you have.
The only thing that is the same is that it only costs 10 gold bars.
It seems that I really bought something expensive.
I always thought the prices were random because my friends' situations were all different.
When I fail, the ads come in and out and sometimes don't appear.

If you are on mobile I could see it since you have ads for free turns and such. The win app does not have that.
Last weekend, when I was doing 3x CR, I spent 16+25=41 gold bars and got 21 consecutive wins.

Hmm odd, has been 10 gold bars 1st, 16 second, 25 third for a long time on the windows app. I think it was a little different in 2019-2020ish, didn't increase turns, but was never more than 10 first go unless I am forgetting. I know it has been 10 for a heck of a long time though.
The thing is, it clearly has space for a booster, which you would normally get on the second try for 16 gold.
A few days ago, when I needed to spend gold bars to buy +5, it cost 16 gold bars the 1st time and 25 gold bars the 2nd time.
Your benefit is the cost of your purchase in reduced gold bars.
Yup keeps popping up exactly the same. So weird.
