I do not have the answer for your "why the change" question, but I agree that players are not very happy that the Lollipop hammer is not there anymore!!
I have reported to our Community In-charge about it as I have seen more complaints about this change ! Hopefully, the game Studio team will consider all our requests and bring the booster back🤞
@Pyrolight Yep, that's me as well. I guess I've gotten out of the habit of paying attention. I'm on level 15386 I think LOL! I just am not playing new levels often anymore unless I have to, to receive rewards. Right now, I need 8 crowns for rewards and play 8 new levels for the Chocolate Box. Well, that's not happening. I don't have enough in-game boosters or gold to do it. In this coming Episode, there are 4 Legendary levels plus 3 hard. I'm not even going to bother to try.
Oh well, there's always next week! 😁

Either I would think I had one more move or not actually look at the requirements for the level. So many lost levels that way.

Those that you posted @Pyrolight are still the same in my game. Although, instead of the +5 added after losing, they're adding +7 to the moves you can buy. In my game anyway.
***Did have a stupid blonde moment today even though I'm not blonde (no offense Blondies) Shame on me because I had one jelly to finish. Needless to say, because I didn't pay enough attention to moves I had left, I lost that level... so I paid the 16 gold for 54 moves! Yep, only needed 1 more move. Couldn't NOT do it on that dang stupid hard Legendary level! My own stupidity as I had plenty of in-game boosters.
Oh well, it is what it is! Moral of the story, pay attention to moves you have left! LOL

Looks like they are bringing the mobile version more in line with the Windows app version. It has always been:
The also had the special deal but that was still broken last time I saw it.
Gonna be really rough for mobile players if they do align with the window version as the windows version objectively gets less stuff.
And another thing King changed this past week or so, when you lose the level and offered free moves and a booster, it's no longer a UFO guaranteed. It's always a Cake Bomb. I've found UFO comes up only once in awhile now on hard levels.
Another stupid, idiotic change that screws us players!

I know it won't do any good bringing this discussion back to the front page, but I feel this stupid change needs to be addressed and the mods need to bring it to Kings attention. Absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for, taking away the Lollipop Hammer from Sweet Cinema.
On this STUPID change, I need to know WHY!! That was the only way to stock up on that booster to try and win crazy, idiodic levels. Unbelievable. Please, someone @King_admin what is the point?
I know, I know, they'll never answer. It just ticks me off. All the changes they've made over the last year or so, have been stupid and have completely ruined a fun game, but this, taking away the Hammer in Sweet Cinema, just puts the icing on the cake of stupidity!

Yes a few people have had the same thing happen to them @latjmt. My Sweet Cinema has been removed, so four rewards is better than none.
My sweet cinema no linger gives the lollipop hammer as a reward. ? Any one else have that happen?
I've completed 3 since getting it back, that was a lot of advert watching. All of mine so far have had 5 boosters, lollipop hammer included. After reading other posts guess it could change at anytime, I'll have to wait and see 🙈

@Alain_F I've told myself the same. I've been playing for 10+ years. Playing this game used to be fun and relaxing.
I'm at level 15,291. I don't play these higher levels often anymore, although I've found they're a bit more manageable than the ones from 12,000-14,999. Imagine that! Won't say why or how.
I guess I've learned to not get so ticked off at this game like I used to when the new PTB started making changes.
As I've always said, it is what it is. It's a free game.

4:30am US Central Time, I logged on, got my 5 boosters from Sweet Cinema. All was fine until @ 6am, went back to SC, and, lo and behold, Lollipop Hammer was gone. I also thought (and hoping) it was a glitch @collegeamoco Needless to say evidently it's not. 😿
Why, oh why couldn't they have taken away the worthless Coconut Wheel! I know we'll never get an answer and we'll never get the Hammer back on SW. I think it'll be like UFO's and Party Poppers, hard to get without paying Gold or real $ (which I would NEVER do even if I was a bazillionaire)! 🤑
