Hey @Boybinary I certainly remember that method from last year! John who posted in this forum used this method to win his All Stars finals group. Of course King did disqualify him for doing that, though technically they probably found a different reason, maybe because he was playing on a PC, who knows, we never found out.
It is useful that you post this here to let everyone know it is still possible even though the end of level cascades have been removed and purples have been removed from so many cascading levels (interestingly not from the one on your screenshot!).
If anyone at King reads this I would like to ask if having the player cards in our games now to spot "impossible" scores (that in a cash prize competition would later on lead to disqualification) can these be used to weed out those players at an early stage? Do King have an AI now to spot impossible scores and can these players be eliminbated before they drive up the scores into the realm of a ludicrous 10 million candies? Is there a way for regular players to report cheaters so they can be investigated now we have player cards, @QueenB ? Can King even use them to identify players? If not, then what is the point of them, they will only aggravate us even more as we can now see there are cheaters in our groups.
Yes, I know, there are so many ways of cheating the game that are not in any way flouting the official rules and Terms and Conditions. Of course I know that, and the bash-the-board-with-boosters method is perfectly legal I am sure. But those players did all end up being disqualified in 2023, didn't they? So all they do is drive up the scores needed to win and in the end they will themselves get nothing, while poor ignorant and naive folk pay the price because they thought if they buy enough boosters they could win.
No they weren't disqualified I'll guarantee you everyone that qualified for London used these tactics I got the letter to go but I had to withdraw for personal reasons it is true that we are exploiting the programming but are doing so with boosters that we have earned over the years and are smart enough to figure this stuff out, for those of us at the end of the map there are very few side games that we can play for instance I have only got 58 episode races in the entire time I played Candy crush and I'm at the end of the map and I've only got two candy royals that is it so when we get an opportunity to earn some gold coins we do it.
What? You were one of the ten groups winners? Did you use an alias? You must have kept quiet about that at the time. I read all the posts back then and do not remember you mentioning that at all. Well, belated congratulations @Boybinary !
I perfectly understand your motivation. We all have our different ways to enjoy the game. Without enjoyment there is no point of playing. Here is how much I've managed to get to on one of my games that I started last summer. For the record though, I don't use this one in any leaderboard competitions.
And the game is still letting me win! Look at where they have placed those two colour bombs from my win streak!
So, to get back on topic, my Sunflower login is still going strong! Personally I find the challenge to win without cheating much more fun. I played seven episodes yesterday and I am still on top this morning. I am quietly optimistic here, since I haven't even started playing yet today.
Here is proof I have limited boosters, which I have to buy with gold in this game. Still getting those colour bombs side by side though on my starting board. It must be my lucky day!
I was curious what your Sunflower game looked like. I always see the 99+ booster stuff so was curious what a game not cheesing the hell out of the game looked like.
I was not losing my mind and thinking there was something completely wrong with me for no having way more boosters and stuff.
