I was obsessed. With Candy Crush. For years! But I have since found a couple other games that I enjoy so when it is p'ing me off I just leave. Sometimes for a week or more. In fact, Candy Crush is no longer even my go-to game. Cuz yeah I don't like their strongarm (greedy) tactics. I have literally spent grocery money on Candy Crush. I still will pay sometimes. But I am no longer obsessed, nor FRUSTRATED! As @Alienscar said, play the game your way!

Personally I think the secret to enjoying Candy Crush is not to take it seriously and do not fall for its tricks.
Ignore everything that makes you think you are competing against other people and just play your game at your own pace.
