You only have a problem if you can't afford to spend that much I guess, we all have different budgets to spend for our entertainment. But is spending so much on this game giving you entertainment? It does prove the point of course: As long as players support King's strategy by paying up, King will continue with their "pay to play" strategy. Profit is all that matters in the world of business.
I totally agree. I wanted to get past a level so l bought some gold bars. Since then every other level l play seems to fail and it suggests l use gold bars for more moves. I do get the boring ads still, but my progress has slower down a lot. Won't buy anything again. I think for some people buying things to pass levels could end up addictive just like gambling. The app has lost its appeal. 🤬
I'm close to level 15,000 now. I made the same mistake last week. Now the game is terrible. All the good features and helpful boosts to my game are now either gone or so sporadically appearing that they aren't helpful at all. The only upside I can see is at least now my candy crush addiction may finally be ending. Even though I wasn't buying anything before, I was surely generating a lot of revenue for Candy Crush through the TONS of ads I was watching. Now, after buying a handful of boosts to reach a goal, I'm out in the cold, and the game is pretty much hopeless for me to keep playing. I had a good run while it lasted.
Try a different device, my husband and I play on 3 devices, I noticed that the kind of boosters you get is different on each device, even if it’s the same account, not sure why. I also spent $2.99 for the first package when I was desperate at one point😭, but now I’m at 16145 without spending another dime on the game. Good luck!
