Je t'en prie ma chΓ¨re (you are welcome, dear) π€
It's funny how some very simple locutions in a language are not well translated into others. In English, "you are welcome" is very common when somebody says thank you. The most familiar way to say it in French is "de rien" (it's nothing) which actually is not as nice as "you are welcome".
Same thing with the word "dear", that is so often used here. The direct translation (mon cher, ma chère) is not so much used in French and is actually quite a formal locution.
Sorry for this lengthy linguistic digression π€ But I realised I was at a loss to translate the above very simple English locution in my own language π
We also have different ways of responding to "thank you":
Most common of course "you're welcome, you're very welcome & you're most welcome.
Google translate is not really a good translation service. Sometimes the translated sentences don't make sense so I get lost in trying to comprehend π but it's OK as long a I get the gist of it.
