I was past level 10,000 and had 6700+ gold bars. I decided to save my progress by making an Apple account. It had the opposite effect and erased all but 2 of my gold bars so more than 6700 gold bars disappeared. I contacted customer support several times and was told me to post on forums. I posted on forums which said to contact customer support, but they never replied to any of my messages.
It’s been more than a month without any reply to 5+ attempts so I decided to delete the app and stop playing. Avoid my mistake and don’t create an account.

I have the same question as @Jewlstheclassic. Did you get make all of that progress in another account? It can be tricky to create/ connect it with an Apple account if that progress was associated with an email or Facebook account. I read about accidental account merging which caused troubles most of the times.
I don’t know if the progress is saved if you just play without an account because I never try that. I usually log in with an email.
Hopefully, you can get your progress back.
When you log out of the apple account, will it return to your progress (10,000) or start from level 1 again? I guess all you can do is to keep bugging King about this because King helped other members to retrieve their progress before. If King can't give back your progress and gold bars, I guess you will have to replay from level 1 with your Apple account.
