@ Fumsec.. have the same issue, how is it Iโve played twice the amount of levels and the person comes out of no where and keeps pacing me?? Ik how much time Iโve put in buying boosters n bars..now I didnโt โstart over(start a new game)โ I started this contest at level I was at, maybe I should have, but I feel like thatโs not fair game play, been playing for over a decade, yeah I donโt agree I may as well forget it smh
No, @NatalieLind nothing is fair about Candy Crush. If you've played for so many years, surely you have come to learn that. Players in the top of the game have a very hard time competing against experienced players who started a new game at level 1. That is just one of many unfairnesses in the event. Then there are some who get better events (there is a top win streak which gives two colour bombs on your starting board, another only gives one) and many more unfairnesses. We are definitely not all playing on equal terms. However, what you are seeing on your leaderboard is a clever strategy by your opponent. Staying just behind a leader, tracking their progress and then trying to overtake in the last few hours is one of two strategies to gain success in this competition. The other is to zoom ahead far enough to discourage the opposition.
Hi there!
The competition is getting very serious! ๐
Please keep in mind that the game continues tracking progress when you play offline, and will attempt to upload it once you go back online, thus causing an apparent increase in progress where there previously was none on the scoreboard.
Also, some players can reach high scores simply because they are playing a lot and collecting lots of purple stars ๐
PS: We do have cheating detection systems in place, so that's covered ๐ค
