a bit disappointed and let down, it’s frustrating putting in HOURS of work only for someone to surpass you extremely quickly.
Came in second for the final stage round 1, honestly I’m glad because now it’s over and life can go back to normal the anxiety and stress is a lot, and I know that ppl are clearly cheating. I wonder what Candy Crush is doing to catch on to cheaters

A The same thing happened to me. And yes, there is a lot of cheating. I reported someone who clearly cheated and they told me that this person was playing offline and that's why it went by so quickly. What is a lie because I'm participating in the weekly race with the cheater and he didn't go any levels, he just increased the stars.

I've made it through to 2nd round knockout, but had to spend quite a few $ to do so.

I'm so disappointed I don't think I'll ever want to play this again. Losing is normal, but being robbed is disappointing.

N That's not what he's talking about. There are people earning stars without leveling up. And game support does NOTHING

I saw someone not appear then all of a sudden he had 170,000 stars and passed me -put me in 2nd place went from zero to 170,000. I’m not playing again

But now I get it… candy crush relies on ppl to spend hundreds of dollars on boosters and gold bars because they know ppl want that trip to LA & prize money. That’s how they get their $1M prize pool. I think I’m done with this game it’s just a ploy for money

Getting overtaken near the end is strategic play and not a sign of cheating. But you are quite right, it's been a waste of time playing this event and it's great to get your life back! Enjoy your days without crushing !

None of you can know if a player is "levelling up". The player cards are not live like the leaderboards so you cannot rely on any information on those. They are updated less frequently and not to be used to assess live progress of other players!
