I played in the last knockout rounds 2/3 against a bot and i took screenshots too.
While he was on 1st place his score went up regularly. Everytime i pass him and went up to 1st place his points didnt moved at all for Minutes and then suddenly jumping over 100k. It happened so many times while playing. You can see on the Screenshots the time too.
It is seriously so unfair!!

Doesn't seem like a bot to me, below as to why.
I am not 100% convinced the scores are updated live. I saw the same thing you see here in earlier rounds. People popping up by ~50K all of a sudden. I actually had a "race" with another player for a few hours. I would play and my score would go up and their points seemed to be updating every 10-15 minutes or so. Since this went for a few hours, it just came across as the updates for other players were not live but on a timer.
I am fairly sure you were playing a living human and I suspect the scores do not update live giving false impressions. This is a theory from my own observation of earlier rounds so take it with a grain of salt.
