UK romance movie directed by Lasse Hallstrom
With French actress Juliette Binoche, Judi Dench and (really younger) Johnny Depp
Beautifully shot in the warm colour and light that relate to chocolate. It shows how chocolate sweetness can influence people's attitude and mood.
This film reminded me of the very sweet encounter with an aged Romanian couple visiting Paris back in the 1980s. The man had never eaten chocolate in his life. The sheer delight that lightened up his face at his first ever taste of it was so heart warming that this remains a vivid and fond memory.
