colour bomb frenzy

I opened my latest game today and found 4 colour bombs on my starting board on level 127. I failed to take a screenshot, but on the next level also I have an extra colour bomb that I don't know where it is coming from. After failing the level a few times I obviously have no win streak boosters and I have a timed colour bomb from the daily treat machine. But where is the second one coming from?
N.B. the colour bombs were of no use, they have made this level harder this week. ( I remember passing it easily in the past, so they've done something to it to make it harder)

I noticed today that the timed color bomb booster from the chocolate box gives me two color bombs instead of one. My candy necklace now only has one color bomb, but I've always had three on the starting board. I also played a friend's level while the timed color bomb was still active, and I got two color bombs on board there too 🤔

Ya they do now, noticed it last week. Having 4 on the board can be hilarious and so pointless with a side by side.

I know there are two colour bombs on the starting board here, but could this be new record?
I had half an hour timed colour bomb(s) and one from a win streak. I think they want me to pass this one….

I am seriously starting to wonder if the fact I get two colour bombs on each level instead of one is a glitch and unintended by the game? If so, that now makes me a cheater, thank you very much, King!?!? I mean, is this intended or not? How are we supposed to know? I pay 9 gold for my timed colour bombs, does that make me an honest player? I get two instead of one if I pay, but not in my other game at level 16,100, here I only get one. So clearly not everyone gets this bonus. Is it a test? Is it a glitch? Who knows. It's all a mystery…..

Like the supercharge it is just them testing stuff. Some get it some don't. I have the double in my game so it is not a bug.

I guess you are right. It's not overly powerful either, if the game wants you to lose you still do, two colour bombs or not. I got them side by side in all but two levels during that episode leading up to level 200! But now I'm past level 200 of course I don't! And having two colour bombs isn't helping me pass any levels at all now I'm past level 200. So yes, that looks to me like King have deliberately fixed it like this.

That is something I plan to address as I have mostly confirmed my modifying the difficulty theory from before. Still isn't 100% dead on but I suspect I have the gist of it.
Ya what you are seeing is another part of all that. It is layers and layers of nonsense.
