Boosters not working correctly

Level 6644, I was on a winning streak only needed to pass two more levels to receive in a large share of gold bars. So when I began playing I used all 3 boosters before starting.
The fish generally pop the required items to receive your target to complete the level. But on this level it didn't, my bombs kept counting down while the fish were not targeting the bombs just random coloured candy (which aren't part of the target to win the level) causing me to loose the level and restart my progress π‘π‘π‘
Has anyone else come across this?

Hello and welcome to the community! Yes, the fishes are often unreliable and can't be used for most blockers. I have never seen them specifically attack frosting, liquorice or bombs at all. The only blockers they will reliably attack are jellies and sugar coats, and if there are none of these on the board they will just go for random candies and are completely useless. King want us to use lollipops for those bombs.
