Can I recover my bonus

I had completed a difficult road and received the 35 gold plus the 5 extra and the game froze after I claimed saying there was a connection error. When after a few seconds the game resumed the gold wasn't posted to my acct. It's not the 1st time this has happened but I never said anything reasoning well,it's just a game. Can I get that 40 gold posted to my acct?
