Hi there, my friend @SApple2! Alright then! ๐
I understand you may be too busy playing and focusing on the current "Soda Cup" competition for your collection of yellow whistle candies, I will choose you in the "Shipmates" event for some permanent CCSS playing time.
Have a great good night! ๐ค๐
Oh my dear @Racoon7 ๐ค We don't need to understand the tech stuff. Let us leave that to the programmers/developers. Let that be their headaches. ๐
Please don't leave. Try to play for fun. It's only a game. Please don't let this affect you in any way. It's not worth it. Remember you are special while this game can be tossed away. ๐
Algorithm is just a specific set of step by step commands or instructions for any given tasks, processes, procedures, etc. It's widely used in mathematics and computers in all areas of computing but also in every day life like daily routines or following recipes.
I believe in our lives we don't have to be this technical. I adapted a stress free, headache free approach or motto "come what may". I know it's not without risks but life is full of ambiguities and uncertainties. We don't normally get a clear picture of what's in front of us even if it's staring us in the eyes, how much more of what's ahead of us.
All we can do is do the best we can diligently and meticulously if one can, then after that no matter what happens regardless of whether it's favorable or not, we have no choice but to accept which hopefully with grace.๐
Woah! ๐ Please give a minute or two or even an hour to digest everything you wrote. ๐คฃ
I did not experience that.
I'm glad. In my leaderboard, the top 4 (including me) were racing each other. The second place was persistent until 3 hours prior to the end. He was ahead most of the times.
But that's what they do, don't they? ๐ค You are part of their leaderboard and so they are racing their leaderboard competitors, you included
No. If it's still the same format, we're not seeing each other unless I'm also on their leaderboard. It's not like the normal competition or tournament where all the players are in the same group. Even if it's segmented, the players within the group all belong to that same group. Not in this case. Not in the way it was done before in Soda Cup anyway. We're the only one who can see our own leaderboards. We had a heavy discussion of this matter before. It's ideal in any way especially when you're competing with friends (you're both in each other's leaderboard) because one could be chasing another and you'll end up chasing them like a domino effect.
As for the impression of not competing real players, I certainly have that in Soda Episode Race
Yes. This is evident in players jumping numerous levels in a lightning speed. ๐ I stopped racing. I can't win in this case even if I try. If King wants me to win, even if I play one level every few hours, I will win because none of the players move an inch. I provided snapshots of these a couple of times in this thread.
Were you really competing against your friends in former races?ย
Yes. If you are in each other's leaderboard. This happened a few times at Winter Cup. I, Amoon, Yosca, steventseng, hyunduc, JON, tee, and I'm not sure who else.
Maybe we will see players we know from the semis onward, as the number of leaderboards will bรฉ reduced?
I don't want to compete with friends per se, for I don't feel right, it's just more of an affirmation when I see one that I'm competing with real players. Doubt is seeping in due to all these sketchy things happening in the game,
Whew ๐ I wrote a short novel. ๐คฃ
