Level 3
Anyone test this thing out?
I wouldn't say I tested it, but I used it a few times last year when it was first released.
My opinion then has not changed now and the affect of the Magic Shuffler is no different to the normal 'no moves shuffle'. As I said back then when was the last time a board shuffle actually helped anyone.
Oh, and the one time I have used it this year it still caused my game to crash when I watched the advert. This was an issue last year when it crashed 80% of the times I tried to use it.
Definitely not worth paying gold for something that we have all experienced for free at some point when playing the game.
Okay, @SubstitutePyrolight You've made me curious, so yes, I have now tested it out. Like all boosters I think the answer must be to use it wisely and at the right time.
For info this is the starting board for this level:
(I took this screenshot later, in real life I played starting boosters and had win streak boosters, which of course on a board like this one do absolutely NOTHING):
By the time you have released and got to the keys, removed the rainbow twist, which is broken up into separate pieces by jelly jars, to expose a layer of frosting beneath the "64" cages (not visible when you play this level for the first time, so it's guesswork what lies beneath), and then removed the frosting to expose the remainder of the board…. well you can see that it takes a party popper plus a lucky board. So by this stage, with 5 moves left I was ready to give the magic shuffler a try as I could see there was no winning move here for me.
I was hoping that the shuffle might move a yellow candy into the column that had the yellow stripe. Since I had already used a party popper on this board I felt I was due some luck. (I find that many boards in this level range need one party popper to pass on my first attempt: Usually this triggers a lucky board, though quite often you also need one UFO or a lollipop, so that's "lucky" for levels 15,000+style)
And yes, it did work!
Use it wisely, like all the other features in this game, and it will do the trick. And of course, needless to say, it is not a random shuffle.
Hello @allika100 Yes, every player can win the gold from the episode race if they pass all the levels in 24 hours. If you win but do not get the gold then your game has an error in it. If you don't get the prize for winning your episode race, try contact Support about it.
