why does my profile picture continue to go back to the creepy animal after I have changed it?

I have seen few more complaints about this in the past couple of days!
When there is a glitch on King servers, our original avatar disappears and we see a default "King" avatar, Please don't worry as it will be cleared by itself.
You can try logging out of the game β disconnecting from Wi-Fi β shutting down your device for 10 minutes and turning it back on β turn on the Wi-Fi and log back into the game. You should see your actual avatar now.
But, like I said above, if the servers are having a glitch, you will continue to see the "animals" for a while!
O.k. so you connect with fb. I do so.
However, sometimes I also have a preselected King avatar, that changes later to my fb avatar!
I suppose there is some internet related bug!
When I connect with Facebook to change my photo the next time I go to play it back to the animal.

If you are connected with facebook, your profile picture follows your profile pic on facebook!
If you have a King account, there is not an option any more to change avatar!
However, youcan change it using other King games, where this option is still available!

Unable to purchase
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
Is anyone elseβs games freezing and then crashing? The last few days my games are consistently freezing and crashing. Costing me gold bars and boosters.
