Are you logged into the game through Facebook or King account?
If you are logged in with Facebook, you can join different groups and ask for Friend requests;
If you are logged in with King account, the game will provide you some random players. Send requests to those players and ask for lives;
You can also make friends with the players that you see on your game map. While playing the game, you must have seen some avatars in the way, right? Those are called "Player Cards". Click on each of those Player Cards, and you will see an option to send a Friend request to that player.
If they accept your request, then, you can ask for lives and send lives from that player card itself.
Also, check your friends list. Click on your profile picture located at the top of your game map screen. Then, click on "Friends" tab. Now, you will see all of the friends you have in your game. Click on each name and send a life and ask a life.
** We must send a life while asking a life. People don't like it if we keep on asking for lives but, don't send any lives back!!
Other than this, there is "Link system" too! You can share your link with other players and request them to be your friends. Please find detailed description on this feature —> HERE. (click on the Green letters to open it).
